I told you I was gonna teach you the contouring technique! Well, to tell you the truth I am still trying to teach myself and sharing it with you is part of the learning process, so… here we go.
In the picture below we have what we need for simple homemade contouring makeup, obviously the products chosen are in the exact shades needed for my face color. Please get advice about the shades you need from a specialist before buying any of the products.
The most important thing for me is the brush and the way you use it to cover the face with the Perfect Refining Foundation. So if you wanna invest in something, invest in a Perfect Foundation Brush.
Please do not make fun of my stupid expresssions throught out these pictures. Sticking my tongue out and this is how I look when I’m sticking my tongue out.
Next comes the Eye Zone Corrector. Use it on areas where you want to highlight your face. Like forehead, nose, chin. You all know how to apply a concealer decently.
The difficult part of it all, is the Bronzer “situation” that makes the magic. There is an imaginary line from the start of your cheekbones down to your mouth and that is where you “paint” with the Bronzer. Make little round movements around the face to mix it all together.
At the end of this page you will find a proper contouring tutorial, because I’m all talk and no video. Huh?
You continue with the bronze as long as you feel the result is as fullfilling as you wish. Continue with the stupid faces and if needed, squeeze your cheeks in to make the imaginary line more visible.
Finish off a minimal and light contouring make-up with a Lacquer Gloss and voila!

And this is how I looked that day out in the sun.
Bye bye crazy eyes. :-)
